Adam,

While you are not required to fill out a home inventory it is always a good idea to have one.  In the event of a disaster or a loss of your home, you will have to prove that you owned all of the things that you want replaced. This can be very difficult to do once everything is gone.

We have created a home inventory checklist which you can download for FREE and use as your home inventory guide.  Remember to always include photos, serial numbers, receipts and any other type of proof of ownership you may have. These can prove to be very useful in the event that you need to file a claim.

Thanks,

Your Agent@HomeInsurance.com
