Hurricane Gustav made landfall Monday morning as a category 3.  Homeowners and insurance companies alike were relieved at the storm’s weakening condition upon making landfall- previously threatening the coast as a Category 5 storm. As Gulf Coast homeowners breathe a sigh of relief the Southeast begins to brace itself for Hurricane Hannah which is intensifying and moving towards the central Bahamas. Hannah is expected to make US landfall somewhere on the East Coast between Georgia and North Carolina sometime Saturday morning.
