But before the festivities begin, make sure to take some precautions in protecting your home and family this holiday season. We’ve compiled some of our safety articles that you might find useful to reduce accidents and avoid home insurance claims.
Fireworks Safety
While beautiful and spectacular, fireworks can also be very dangerous when an untrained expert is lighting and launching them. If you can, try to attend a professional fireworks show as opposed to setting them off in your backyard. This reduces the risk of starting fires and causing injuries. If you are planning on setting off fireworks at home, practice safety precautions at all times. Make sure no one is standing near the fireworks or in their path. Supervise small children and pets.
